Day 027 -Finally made it to Colorado for the first time and it is quite beautiful. Headed into the Gore Mountain Range and set up camp with my buddy Dan. It was a beautiful spot and always nice to stay in a tent. (October 12, 2016)

Day 026
Day 026 -Still a bit sick and needing to catch a flight. I walked outside snapped a few photos and headed for the airport. The MGM was a great place to stay for the most part. It was a bit weird being on the fifth floor in room 404. It made it confusing. (October 11, […]
Day 025
Day 025 -WORTH THE READ. So there I was with 4 friends and one Canadian on a “mancation.” We did Zion National Park then on to Vegas. Things got crazy and I needed an IV treatment. Luckily it’s Vegas and they offer other kinds of room service. Unlike their usual clients, it wasn’t what I […]
Day 024
Day 024 -Today I got to tour the power plant at the Hoover Dam. If you’re expecting a dam pun, then you should look elsewhere, or was that one? The tour is really great and the structure itself is amazing. I would definitely make time for the tour if you make the short drive from […]
Day 023
Day 023 -It’s been a year-long plan, but I finally made it to Zion National Park. I’ve been wanting to go for years, and it did not disappoint. After a very difficult hike up and down to Angel’s Landing, I grabbed this in a meadow just before getting back to the trailhead. What a beautiful […]
Day 022
Day 022 -Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas is a lot more beautiful than the strip. I spent the night here and woke up early for a wonderful hike. If you come to Vegas take the half hour drive and check it out, you will not be disappointed. (October 7, 2016)
Day 021
Day 021 -Viva Las Vegas! Well just outside the city at Red Rock Canyon. You may notice one Vegas identifier. It’s the beginning of a great trip a over a year in the making. (October 6, 2016)
Day 020
Day 020 -It’s may not seem like a pretty picture but getting my gear together for a proper trip. Super excited and you’ll have to follow along to see where I end up. (October 5, 2016)
Day 019
Day 019 -Well I lasted nineteen days until I photographed one of my favorite things. It’s hard to find any unique angles that haven’t been done before, but who cares. This project is about what I like. This one goes out to Mom #2, one of my biggest supporters. Happy Birthday! (October 4, 2016)
Day 018
Day 018 -Climbed high atop the Smokys for this shot. The Chimney Tops is a great hike with some light bouldering at the end, but the views are worth it. It’s two miles with a 1400ft elevation change. There were a lot of runner-ups today with some streams and small waterfalls, but I’ll probably see […]
