Day 142-This had to be cleared for release but it was worth the wait.  We got a new helicopter squadron that arrived.  There were three of them scrunched in there.  Pretty cool huh? -JANUARY 25

Day 160 -Mardi Gras in Africa on base.  We had a parade and Cajun food complete with shrimp po’ boys.  Can’t say I’ve ever really celebrated before, but it was pretty fun.  Wanted to find something colorful and this fit the bill. -FEBRUARY 12
