Day 180
Day 180 -Well if my math is right, then here we are. It’s been a long break since posting and I hope to post the past days as I move forward. I got discouraged for many reasons, but it’s not reason to give up. So I’m just starting here. What better way to get motivated […]
Day 109
Day 109 -Started off the new year with getting to my happy place, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and hiked to some falls. It was a surprisingly warm day and perfect for hiking. The company was the best part though. (January 02, 2017)
Day 095
Day 095 -Driving through the mountains and got excited to spot snow, only later to find out that it was frozen fog. None the less it was beautiful. (December 19, 2016)
Day 091
Day 091 -Sunrises never get old in the Smokies. There may not be snow, but it’s always beautiful. (December 15, 2016)
Day 058

Day 018 -Climbed high atop the Smokys for this shot. The Chimney Tops is a great hike with some light bouldering at the end, but the views are worth it. It’s two miles with a 1400ft elevation change. There were a lot of runner-ups today with some streams and small waterfalls, but I’ll probably see […]
Day 003
Day 003 -The view of the Smokys never gets old. I’ve probably published at least ten of these over the last few years, but each day brings something new. It is those mountains that brought me to Tennessee. (September 18, 2016)
